Kansai Plascon Boosts Rangi Ya Chapaa Rewards by 50% for Painters in 2026
Painters and contractors across Kenya are set for a stronger start to 2026 after Kansai Plascon Kenya unveiled an enhanced Rangi Ya Chapaa promotion, increasing instant cash rewards by 50 per cent.
Under the renewed campaign, painters will now receive Sh300 in instant mobile cash, up from Sh200, for every qualifying paint tin purchased. The promotion runs nationwide from January 1 to March 31, 2026 and is aimed at putting more money directly into the hands of fundis and contractors.
How the 2026 Rangi Ya Chapaa Promotion Works
The Rangi Ya Chapaa initiative is built around instant rewards. Each selected Kansai Plascon paint tin contains a scratch card that can be redeemed immediately via M-Pesa, eliminating delays and complicated redemption processes.
Painters simply buy a qualifying tin, scratch the card inside, and receive Sh300 instantly. Every purchase offers a new chance to win, encouraging repeat participation throughout the three-month campaign.
Company Says Painters Are Key Partners
Launching the promotion, Kansai Plascon Kenya Managing Director Kota Enami said the increased reward reflects the company’s commitment to recognising painters as essential partners in the construction and finishing industry.
“Rangi Ya Chapaa is built on simplicity, trust, and consistency. By increasing the instant reward to Sh300, we are delivering even greater value to painters and recognising their contribution as they begin the year,” Enami said.
Simplicity and Transparency at the Core
The company’s marketing team says the promotion has been deliberately designed to remain simple and transparent, making it accessible to painters in both urban and rural areas.
Marketing Manager Kunal Biswas said the strength of the campaign lies in its ease of use.
“Painters buy a tin, scratch, and receive instant cash — no delays and no complications. Increasing the reward strengthens the value proposition and reinforces Kansai Plascon Kenya’s long-standing relationship with the trade,” Biswas said.
Supporting Painters Beyond Cash Rewards
The 2026 Rangi Ya Chapaa promotion forms part of Kansai Plascon Kenya’s broader strategy to support painters through instant incentives, loyalty programmes, and long-term partnerships.
“Our focus remains on building trust and supporting the people who use our products every day,” Enami added. “Rangi Ya Chapaa is one of the ways we continue to do exactly that.”
