Eric Agolla Lugalia Charged in Sh250 Million Land Fraud Dispute
A land dispute worth Sh250 million has landed pilot Eric Agolla Lugalia in court after businessman Stuart Gerald Cullinan Herd accused him of fraud and forgery.
According to court documents, Herd claims Lugalia unlawfully acquired a prime parcel of land valued at Sh250 million. The businessman says he has been in possession of the property for over a year before the dispute escalated.

High Court Orders Pilot to Keep Off Land
The High Court issued orders directing Eric Agolla Lugalia to keep off the disputed property.
In his ruling, Justice Samson Okong’o ordered the Officer Commanding Karen Police Station to maintain law and order on the land pending determination of the case.
The court heard allegations that Lugalia used forged documents, including a fake land title deed dated August 2, 2025, purporting it to be issued by the Ministry of Lands.

Allegations of Forgery and Fraud
Prosecutors allege that Lugalia forged:

A sale agreement for the disputed land
The documents were allegedly presented as genuine records from the Ministry of Lands.
Court papers further indicate that Herd reported harassment and threats linked to the land dispute.
“Although I am still in physical and actual possession of the property, Pilot Eric Agolla Lugalia alongside allied armed gangs has been harassing me,” part of the court filing reads.

Arrest and Criminal Charges
Following investigations, Lugalia was arrested and formally charged with fraud and forgery.
The case is now before the High Court, where the legality of the land ownership will be determined.
