Villagers in Sirisia Raise Concerns Over Alleged Influence of Local Leader’s Assistant on Marital Stability

Residents in parts of Sirisia Constituency have recently expressed concern regarding what they describe as increasing marital strain allegedly linked to the conduct of a personal assistant working under Hon. John Koyi Waluke.

According to community members, rumours and allegations circulating within villages have contributed to tension between couples, leading to separation in some households. Villagers are now appealing to their Member of Parliament to intervene and help restore confidence and social harmony within the area.

Local community members who spoke to the media claim that the situation has caused disagreements within families, with some residents accusing the unnamed personal assistant of behaviour they believe contributes to marital misunderstandings. However, the allegations remain unverified, and no official complaint has yet been filed by couples directly involved.

Speaking anonymously, one resident said villagers are requesting Hon. Waluke to address the matter publicly and guide leaders under him on behaviour expected within the community. According to residents, such an intervention would ensure that the constituency leadership remains a positive example to families and avoids any conduct—real or perceived—that could undermine marriages.

Community elders from Sirisia have further appealed for peaceful dialogue, urging residents not to spread unverified information or engage in personal attacks, warning that such actions could escalate tension. They called on couples experiencing difficulties to seek counseling or intervention through local leadership, faith groups, or community mediation mechanisms.

Hon. John Koyi Waluke has not yet issued an official statement regarding the concerns raised by villagers. Observers say his response may help clarify the matter, reduce speculation, and restore trust between leadership and community members.

This emerging community discussion highlights broader issues of family stability, leadership responsibility, and the expectations residents hold toward individuals serving in public offices. It also demonstrates how community leaders are often expected to play a role in safeguarding the moral and social wellbeing of their constituencies beyond political representation.

As the situation continues to unfold, villagers remain hopeful that the matter can be resolved peacefully, without further misunderstanding or conflict among families in Sirisia.
