Domestic airline fly748.com has intensified its engagement with Kenya’s cooperative movement as it seeks to tap into the growing demand for local business and leisure travel among SACCO members across the country.
The airline is targeting the more than 2.6 million members affiliated with SACCOs in Nairobi County, positioning itself as a reliable travel partner for business professionals, investors, families, and organized groups.
Speaking during the Cooperative Expo Nairobi Edition 2026, fly748.com Head of Scheduled Services, George Oduor, said the cooperative movement remains one of Kenya’s most influential economic forces and presents significant opportunities for the aviation sector.
“The cooperative movement represents a powerful economic force with millions of members who travel for business, investment, family, and leisure. Through this Expo, we are showcasing fly748.com as a reliable airline that understands the travel needs of SACCO members, business travelers, families, and organized groups across Kenya,” Oduor said.
The airline participated in the Expo under the umbrella of 748 SACCO, highlighting its commitment to building stronger partnerships within Kenya’s cooperative ecosystem.
The Expo, organized by Credence Africa in partnership with the Nairobi City County Government, was held under the theme “Cooperatives Powering Socioeconomic Inclusion.”
According to organizers, Nairobi County accounts for more than 60 percent of Kenya’s cooperative movement, hosting over 5,000 SACCOs and more than 2.6 million members. The sector continues to play a critical role in driving financial inclusion, investment, and economic growth.
fly748.com recently relaunched its scheduled passenger operations on May 1, 2026, and currently operates two daily flights between Nairobi and Mombasa, alongside one daily flight to Ukunda, serving both corporate and leisure travelers.
Oduor noted that the airline’s presence at the Expo demonstrates its commitment to expanding access to affordable and reliable air travel while strengthening strategic partnerships with SACCOs and cooperative societies nationwide.
“Backed by over 31 years of proven aviation experience in some of the world’s most demanding operating environments, we deliver reliable schedules, on-time departures, high safety standards, and an exceptional customer experience,” he said.
He added that the carrier is focused on providing dependable connectivity for a broad range of travelers, including corporate executives, SACCO members, tourists, families, and holidaymakers traveling between Nairobi and Kenya’s coastal destinations.
The Cooperative Expo Nairobi Edition 2026 brought together cooperatives, investors, businesses, and policymakers, providing a platform for networking, market access, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships aimed at accelerating socioeconomic development across Kenya.
